MEET DANIELLE

Owner & Instructor

Danielle holds undergraduate and graduate degrees from Rutgers University School of Criminal Justice. After working a corporate desk job for many years she began to feel the wear and tear in her body. This led her to Pilates in 2011 where she fell in love with the discipline and soon thereafter completed her classical Pilates certification in Santa Monica, CA. She is a third generation teaching instructor who has experience with all ages, injuries and athletic abilities.

Danielle is also a Certified Pre & Post Natal Pilates Specialist under the guidance of Fusion Pilates. Having this additional certification is essential when instructing prenatal, postnatal and menopausal women. Not many instructors in LA hold this very vital certification, or have her personal experience in this field.

Whether she is teaching a private or duet session, she is known for balancing her cheerful, energetic encouragement with butt-kicking workouts, all the while keeping it fun. On a daily basis Danielle is inspired by the changes she sees in front of her as she watches people build strength and make health a priority. Danielle will always guarantee "a sweat and a laugh"!

When she is not in the studio, Danielle enjoys spending time with her husband and son doing all things LA.

MEET OUR TEAM

CoreSpark Pilates is dedicated to delivering exceptional instruction. Only instructors who have completed an extensive, comprehensive apparatus certification — including hundreds of hours of apprenticeship — are invited to teach in our studio.

All of our teachers have studied and trained in the full Pilates system, including its depth of exercises, progressions, modifications, and injury-prevention principles. This comprehensive education allows us to tailor each session to your unique needs.

Our instructors remain lifelong students of the method, continuing their education through advanced training to ensure the highest standard of care and expertise.

Karinna has been practicing Pilates for over 15 years, which led her to pursue certifications in classical and contemporary Pilates. A professional dancer from Sydney, Australia, she discovered Pilates after a dance-related injuries and developed a deep passion for its benefits. Now a dedicated rehab Pilates instructor with over 7 years of experience teaching private & dust sessions, she specializes in helping clients build strength and mobility. Her extensive dance training has given her a true understanding of the body, which has greatly influenced her approach to Pilates.

A background in competitive gymnastics and dance, Marissa took her first Pilates Reformer class in 2011, and found an instant love. She continued to take Pilates recreationally, realizing it helped to keep her muscles lean and long, along with being able to rehab industry related injuries. Marissa has completed over 800+ hours of comprehensive teacher training at the Pilates Institute of Southern California. Marissa has also received a continuing education certification with Peak Pilates in “Pilates for Dancers.” Knowing first hand the benefits and love of Pilates, her goal is to bring joy and healing to others through movement.
